ARRIVAL IN LEH
Arrival Leh in the morning and transfer to the hotel. Full day of rest for acclimatization to the high altitude of Leh (11,500 ft / 3500 mtrs).Overnight stay at hotel.
LEH MONASTERY TOUR
After a delicious breakfast in the morning, drive to Hemis Monastery. Drive to Thiksey Monastery for a visit. After these visits, return to Leh and you will be dropped at Leh Market / hotel for Lunch (on direct payment basis). Post lunch, you will leave for the sightseeing of Shanti Stupa. overnight stay at hotel.
LEH TO NUBRA VALLEY VIA KHARDUNGLA PASS (140 KM / 5 -6 HOURS)
After breakfast leave for Nubra Valley, driving across Khardong-la (alt: 18,380 ft). After descending from the pass, drive on for sightseeing of Sumoor area. Later check into a fixed camp or Hotel in the same area or drive across to Deskit for overnight stay in a camp or Hotel
NUBRA VALLY TO LEH VIA KHARDUNGLA PASS (140 KMS/ 5 - 6 HOURS)
In the morning visit / explore Deskit , Hundar and the Sand Dunes where you can enjoy a short camel safari using the double-humped Bactrian camel found here (optional on direct payment). Later drive back to Leh, reaching in the late afternoon / evening. Overnight stay at hotel.
LEH - PANGONG LAKE (145 KM / 5 - 6 HOURS)
Early departure for Pangong Lake (approx. 145 kms, located on the Indo China Border), via Chang-la pass (alt: 17370 ft). After full day of sightseeing around the Lake check-in at fixed tented camp near the lake at Spangmik or drive back for 30 kms to Tangtse and check into Hotel / Camp for overnight Stay
PANGONG LAKE TO LEH (145 KM / 5 - 6 HOURS)
In the morning have breakfast at your camps in Pangong. Thereafter, proceed for your journey back to Leh. Upon your arrival in Leh, you may enjoy the evening at leisure. Later, enjoy your dinner & a comfortable overnight stay at hotel.
